Role and Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Responsible for maintenance of all the SQL Server.
- Design, develop and maintain database and DB objects.
- Provides IT support for the review, analysis, troubleshoot and repair of database issues.
- Develops ETL processes and providing reports for business analysis purpose.
- Designs, develops, tests, and implements business system applications and system modifications.
- Designs systems, modules, and or approaches and required enhancements.
- Creates appropriate documentation to support.
- Develops end-user documentation and assists with training as needed.
- Performs analytics using various sources of data to predict/forecast possible outcomes.
- Based on analysis performed, recommends strategies to address possible outcomes and/or to meet business operational needs.
- Perform daily operational tasks in all company’s customer service production systems.
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical staff.
- Acts as a business system resource to the organization.
- Ensures all compliance aspects of position are known and followed; understands and complies with all policies, codes and regulations applicable to position and company.
- Performs related duties as assigned.
- Analysis and develop BI reporting for business.
- Supports and develop company POS system.
Skills and Qualifications
Education:- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
- Must have strong working experience with MS-SQL.
- Must have wide working experience with ETL and ETL tools (SSIS).
- Must have experience with OLAP Cubes (SSAS).
- Experience on development / coding with .Net, jQuery, Javascript.
- Experience with ASP.Net MVC or related architecture.
- Strong knowledge of database concepts.
- Strong knowledge of Rest / SOAP, 3rd party API.
- Must have experience with various BI tool & Reporting tool such as Tableau, MS SSRS.
- Experience with iQmetrics RQ POS would be a benefit.
- Nice to have experience with developing API and integrating third party API in existing processes/applications.
- Experience with project management software or asset management software.
- Understanding of retail business / process and systems such as POS.
- Interpersonal and communication skills.
- 3-5 years’ work experience in field maintenance.
